There has been a lot going on in the world of table-top role-playing games (ttrpg) lately, especially in the fantasy genre.
To be specific, Wizards of the Coast (owned by Hasbro), publishers of Dungeons & Dragons, shat on the carpet of third-party content developers, stepped in it, tracked it through every room of the house, tried to blame it on the dog, then claimed, “We meant to do that all along.”
Ashes of Isar is a World War 2 espionage and spy-craft table-top role-playing game for a game master and 1-6 players. It is inspired by the exploits of S.O.E. (Special Operations Executive) agents operating behind enemy lines in Nazi-occupied Europe.
Operation Songbird is a fictitious mission based on a real person, expatriated American actress Mildred Gillars, who worked for the Nazis as a radio broadcaster spreading propaganda across Europe. The agents must capture her alive and bring her to England in a daring raid.
